Mohinder talks about her life in Tanzania, school, marriage and moving to England with her husband. Recalls joining her landlady on visits organised by the Women's Institute. Talks about working in a finishing factory and later a leather factory. Recalls her involvement with the Sikh Temple and being in charge of the catering facilities. Talks about supporting the Ugandan Asians and translating for other Asian women at work.
