Produced as part of the commemoration of the Bicentenary of the Parliamentary Abolition of Transatlantic Slave Trade in the British Empire in 2007. 2007 has given educationalists in Britain a great opportunity to take a fresh look at how the slave trade is taught in schools. It is hoped that this pack will give teachers more confidence in how to approach the complex and sensitive issues involved. |
